Wine Tasting Sch.

The State of Maine will be allowing Wine, Beer & Liqour tasting, however in their infinite wisdom they put a clause in the bill stating it is illegal for children to view the wine tasting. So, To have an event we would have to cover all our windows and doors and have a guard at the door so no one under 21 could come into the store, even if they were with a parent.

At Downeast we have chosen not to have events until this law is reworked. We believe this will be in January. Just after the biggest months of the year, Thanks Maine.

We will however have special sales events occuring several times a month. These events will include in store specials on new wines and beers so you can try the new items at special discounts.
